Car Puja Timings
Car Puja will be performed at below timings subject to weather and priest availability:
Mon to Fri (Mornings):
10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri (Evenings):
06:00 PM to 08:00 PM
(No evening Car Pujas on Tuesday)
Saturday:
02:00 PM - 06:00 PM
Sunday:
02:00 PM - 06:00 PM
Important: Limited slots will be available each day based on the weather conditions. Tickets will be issued on 'First come First serve basis'. Hence, once the count has been reached, additional tickets cannot be issued. Kindly plan for the same and arrive well ahead.
Car Puja Service: $51
Process for Car Puja:
- Go to the Temple front desk for Car Pujas. Slots are on a walk-in basis only, subject to availability. No prior bookings possible.
- Please bring the listed Puja items. They are NOT available at temple.
- Limited slots will be available each day. Tickets will be issued on 'First come First serve basis'.
- Once you take the ticket please proceed to Car Puja area and show the receipt to the Priest.
- Please follow Priest's directions & instructions.
Car pujas will NOT be performed - If the feels like temperatures are below 50°F or above 100°F or any other adverse weather conditions.
Temple reserves the right for last-minute schedule changes to the car puja availability.
Required Car Puja Items
- 5 Lemons
- One small flower bunch & 5 Bananas
Please bring all Puja items as they are NOT available at temple.
Why do Car Puja?
Hindus seek blessings from God for any new items to ward off negative influences. This puja is done as soon as possible after the purchase. Such pujas are done for homes, businesses, etc.
A vahana puja is a short ceremony to obtain God's blessing for a new car. Puja can also be done for old cars during Devi Navaratri on Ayudha puja day.
Temperature
Car pujas will NOT be performed - If the feels like temperatures are below 50°F or above 100°F or any other adverse weather conditions.
